Story Time!
January 20, 2010

We have been working on different types of stories in class. This week we are writing Fables. Fables are stories with morals or stories that teach the reader a lesson.
If you would like to read and comment some of the fables we have written, you can click "write on the wall" to the left.

Just for the Students
August 10, 2009

Dear Students,

Hello and Welcome! First, I would like to praise you for already finding our class website! And secondly, I would like to congratulate and welcome you into 3rd grade! It will be my honor to be your classroom teacher this year, and I know that we are going to have many fun learning experiences.

While you are here, though, take a look around. There's plenty to do here on our website, and if you look at the menu bar above, you'll see several links that are yours to explore. (Yes, I made them specifically for you:)

Check your homework, watch movies, take quizzes, rate classroom stories, laugh at funny pictures, play adventure games, and even write on the wall!

Right now, this website is just starting out, but you can help it grow by exploring, having fun, and leaving comments!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Ferrell

A Note for Parents
August 10, 2009

Can you believe that it's already time for another school year to begin? The other 3rd grade teachers and I have been working hard this summer planning learning activities for the students and getting ready for our new reading series. I, for one, am very pleased with the curriculum and am anticipating another wonderful year.

If you care to look around, this is our classroom website. As parents, I realise that you want to stay up-to-date with what your child is learning/eating/doing o otherwise participating in. If you look to the left, you'll see the "communication" box. I tried to group resources together that --I felt-- you would find most useful for keeping up with school and classroom events.

If you have any comments, suggestions, or questions, don't hesitate to let me know.
